Unknown News

Unknown News posts a once-weekly digest of news, mainly from mainstream sources, that warrant more public attention. With the wealth of daily news items churned out by the internet, it is true that some items are ignored even though they do get published. Some stories even get pulled once the ramifications become clearer, but that's another story.

Some quotes from the Unknown News owners are interesting.

"We believe you have the right to live your own life as you choose, and others have the equal right to live their lives as they choose. It's not complicated." It is complicated when there are people who think they are free to impose their rule on others - just look around at the world today.

"We believe freedom leads to peace, progress, and prosperity, while its opposite -- oppression -- leads to war, terrorism, poverty, and misery." True.

With a non-partisan approach Unknown News likes to skirt around the usual labels of left-wing, right-wing, libertarian and so on. "Our suggestion is: think." An oh-so-rare quality!
