The Science Cryptic Crossword site SCICX has just launched and has its first crossword online, numbered SCX1. these are cryptic crosswords, not science general knowledge quiz-type questions, rather more along the lines of The Times. This means it should appeal to both the scientifically literate as well as crossword addicts. The online version of the crosswords are there only for show, to print out a nice copy they are also available as pdf files. SCX1 is available here. There's also a prize draw for completed crosswords sent in - closing date 8 April.

This is the most challenging one as it involves science as well as common sense. I think it will be better to try it via PDF.
ReplyDeleteI like to play this game because of its' increase ability to solve a difficult problem. When I set out to write the crossword solver I imagined I would only create a system that can solve a small minority of clues.
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of stuff like this on the internet. I think that is really food to get involve in these kind of games and I think it much better to increase the mind power.
